I was part of a multidisciplinary team that participated in an innovation sprint at Nationwide Insurance to see how we can take care of Gen-Z as they look for jobs after graduating high-school.
PROJECT OBJECTIVE
USER PERSONAS
Naomi believes:
Academic advisor is useless in terms of choosing a career, lacks industry mentors. She cannot find good job descriptions that fit her need and is overwhelmed with generalized career resources.

James believes:
No educational resources about other options besides college. Felt cast aside from guidance counselors. Needs matched with personal work preferences.

Luis believes:
He has no connections beyond immediate network and is uncertain what next career steps have the most value. He needs to learn through working in an environment.

Current experiences pointed towards patterns that highlighted ease of access that stopped Gen-Z from finding jobs, social influence regarding different career options were low, people were intimidated by not having the right career fit and lastly people had a wide variety of knowledge gap regarding job opportunities.
