I was born to a doctor father and loving mother in India and grew up with my elder brother who was my friend and guide. At the tender age of 5, I participated in an art competition and I finished second in my class. This early experience laid the foundation for my eventual dedication to art and design.
My passion has remained unchanged. I participated in many art competitions all over the world, allowing my work to be exhibited in the National Art Academy in India. After completing my high school education in India, with a huge support from my parents, I flew to the opposite side of the world to pursue my dreams of becoming a professional designer.
Now, I have completed my undergraduate program from Kent State University in the department of Visual Communication Design with a concentration in user-experience design. Shortly after, I had moved to Indiana to pursue my Masters of Fine Arts degree at Indiana University majoring in Design Research and Strategy with expertise in design thinking and product development.
As a student in Indiana University, I have used this platform to demonstrate my leadership qualities and teamwork skills through collaboration with professionals to implement design thinking. This has enhanced my ability to implement conceptual ideas that address strategic and tactical goals. The experience that I have gained as a graduate teaching assistant has improved my communication skills by providing me with the opportunity to facilitate workshops intended to drive a design thinking discussion and culture for a non-designer audience.
My experience working in India, Czech Republic and the United States has provided me with incredible opportunities that include: showcasing my design vision, recognizing consumer trends and learning design practices. I believe my exposure to techniques including user-experience design, branding development, experimental graphic design and connected product interfaces will enable me to quickly contribute to any design-oriented task
In my spare time I enjoy watching newly released films. I also love traveling and exploring new locations, people and cultures -  I have visited 25 different countries around the world and these experiences have inspired my artistic motivation.
